Longjian is developing innovative electricity market models for DC distribution systems 
(DCDS). In a DCDS, the power infrastructure is shared by multiple parties with conflicting interests, so an economically efficient system operation asks for carefully designed incentive schemes. While the use of DC converters poses unique challenges to the market design, it also increases the value of prosumer flexibility. These markets may offer customers a proper incentive to reduce congestions, voltage deviations, and energy losses, or to explore the potential of local flexibility services.
